Born in Hamburg in 2001, Derek Kacirek aka. Andy T.’s artistic work deals with questions of housing justice, audience dynamics, technological biographies and queer* experiences. His films are in close dialogue with his images and artistic archive projects, for which he draws on narrative and visual as well as activist, community-based and journalistic working methods.
Andy studied scenic arts in Hildesheim and film at the Université Paris 8 and is currently a Diploma II student at KHM Cologne.
