- Details: This gorgeous tissue box cover / holder with stylized floral embellishments is so pretty!! Makes you wish for the days when a fully outfitted boudoir was all the rage. From gorgeous brush and comb sets, mirrored vanity trays, glass jewelry boxes and tissue covers, these pieces were used every day by the modern, stylish woman. There are no manufacturer markings but this tissue box is most likely from Stylebuilt or Matson, who often had their pieces plated with 24kt gold and were said to be tarnish proof, (but we guess even that can't last forever, there is some tarnish on this piece), please see "Condition" below. If you don't care for the vintage patina, with today's metallic spray paints, this tissue box could be looking bright and shiny in no time! (But we hope you love it as is). These vanity items were sold at Marshall Field, Gimbel Brothers, Doerflinger's and other high end department stores and still look very pretty today, definitely better than a plain cardboard tissue box.

- Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. The velvet on the bottom is very worn and needs replacement, there is discoloration in a few areas. There are no dents, chips or broken filigree on this piece. We love the patina of old items, it adds character and authenticity, we hope you appreciate it as well.
